It’s a treatment that deposits vibrant color for the perfect color refresh service. This color treatment which is available in 20 inter-mixable shades, fuses milk_shake’s conditioning whipped cream with your chosen direct colors shade.

How it works:

Decorate the glass with approx. 3-5 ml of the chosen milk_shake® direct color shade. Fill the glass with approx. 5 g of milk_shake® whipped cream. Add more direct color into the glass for a total of approx. 15 ml for the treatment. Mix the direct color with the whipped cream evenly. Apply to clean, damp hair with delicate and pleasant gestures. Leave in for 10 minutes, then rinse well and proceed with the most suitable milk_shake® leave-in treatment and styling products for the blow dry.

The number one issue in the summer is pool water with too much chlorine, and the lake waters with algae and chemical buildup from our farm lands. Stop hair BREAKAGE

Breakage is something that anyone with long hair would like to avoid, but it still happens without us even realizing it. We go through our regular hair routine with things like removing tangles, blow drying, using heat tools or simply pulling hair up without realizing that all of these activities can break hair if they are not done correctly.

Let us start with detangling the hair. You get out of the shower and you towel dry your hair scrambling it all up causing tangles. Instead start by gently drying your hair in strokes from roots to ends without stirring it up. Apply a leave in conditioner and begin to detangle the hair from ends working your way up to the scalp with a wide-tooth comb and repeat this action with a medium-tooth comb. Most people do the reverse and try to comb the hair from scalp to ends; this tightens the tangles causing it to break.

Keep your hair color from fading

A common issue among people who color their hair is fading of the color tone. The list of tricks they try to prevent it from happening includes everything from wearing scarves to cold water washing and more. There are however better ways to keep your hair color from fading. The key lies in understanding the nature of hair and its color.

The structure of a hair can be described as a tube-like fiber that has a cuticle layer covering its surface much like scales on a fish. The best way to keep color in your hair is to treat it correctly. Different pH levels can open or close the cuticle layer of the hair. The higher the pH, the higher the cuticle lifts; the lower the pH, the tighter it closes the cuticle. Your body’s natural acid mantle is 4.5 to 5.5; therefore anything below this level is considered a low pH, anything above – high pH. In addition, tightly closed cuticle locks in your hair color thus keeping it from fading.
