So many exciting things have happened in 2016 and we want to share a few updates on the plans for this year. We asked our General Manager Matteo Monteverde to share the story behind the success of last year. Why more and more salons choose to partner with us and what the new year will bring for z.one concept North America.


How would you describe 2016 for z.one concept North America?

2016 was an amazing year. We experienced more than 30% growth, which was truly outstanding. We also added several key players to our office team and launched a number of exciting products, some of which have already landed in our Top 10 Best Seller list.


I am most excited about the success of milk_shake color lines. Every day on our social media sites we see salons across North America having fun creating Direct Color Cocktails, enjoying the sensorial experience that milk_shake Smoothies Semi Permanent Color offers, as well as achieving beautiful shiny results with our Creative Permanent Color. In result, we’re seeing more and more positive feedback from satisfied customers, which is the ultimate measure of success.

What would you attribute your success to?

Passion, relationships and commitment. This industry is built on strong relationships, not product sales. We offer beautiful products, exceptional formulas and great marketing tools, but the main ingredient is our dedication to the salon industry. When we say “professional only,” we mean it. We are proud to give all our salons an opportunity to carry a line that consumers can’t find in drugstores or beauty store chains. This commitment builds trust; trust in our brand and trust among all the organizations affiliated with our brand.

 

Why should a stylist consider carrying z.one concept products?

Building relationships is at the core of our mission. We are committed to the success of our stylists. Our in-salon services and education classes help stylists improve their techniques and reach their maximum potential. We have also created a range of products and services that offer a unique visual and sensorial experience for the user. Whipped cream and whipped cream based cocktails for hair; Cocoa hair treatment; Hair color that smells like strawberries or papaya. These are just a few examples of the tools that will make any milk_shake salon stand out and make their customers return for more of these uniquely pleasant experiences.
Our mission at z.one concept is to provide a stylist with the most innovative tools to allow their business to grow and prosper while having fun in the process.

 

What are you most excited about in the coming year?

2017 marks our 10th year in North America and we plan to celebrate it accordingly. We will be organizing two major Events to celebrate this anniversary with our partners at all levels. Sunday October 1st there will be an opportunity to be a part of the “z.one concept Global Event” in Rome, Italy. Then at the end of October we will organize a national show in Las Vegas, NV (more details will follow).
We are excited to see our z.one concept family grow as more and more stylists are choosing to partner with us. We will continue to support you with innovative ideas on how to grow your business as well as products that will set your salon apart. We understand that running salon business involves long hours and hard work. If we can create products that are fun to use and put smiles on your customers faces, we consider our mission a success.
