STEP 1

Starting from the top and 3-4cm from the front hairline, trace a separation that follows the hairline, descending the sides, passing 4-5cm over the ears, and following through the back of the head, with a greater distance from the rear hairline. Adapt the thickness according to the density of the hair. Create two macro areas with a separation that’s parallel to the hairline. Isolate the hair from the lower section. In the upper section, separate transversally, creating front and back sections. The separation should cross the top of the head.

STEP 2

Untie the lower section and keeping the head bent forward, comb the hair backwards, keeping it close to the neck. Cut the horizontal perimeter along the base of the neck, using the comb to give greater control to the hair, elongating the front area. Isolate with clips.

STEP 3

Take a small strand from the top back area to give the length of the cut, placing it over the previously cut perimeter, but keeping it a little shorter. This length determines how much layering will be visible at the end of the cut.

STEP 4

From the top back area, take the first section that’s horizontal and parallel to the separation between the front and the back. Project the section 180° and cut the first section using a notching technique. This will be the fixed guide strand to cut the hair in the top back area.

STEP 5

Untie the top front section and take the length of the first strand cut in the top back section as a reference length. Cut over the fixed guide strand.

STEP 6

Comb the hair over the first section. Use the notching technique to get different lengths on the same strand and create small disconnections.

STEP 7

Distribute all the hair in natural fall. Starting from one side, take vertical sections, project 45°, checking the length of the perimeter and the disconnection.

STEP 8

Use a slide cutting technique to remove excess length and create a slight inner graduation that elongates gradually. This will create a result that has a very layered top section, a graded internal intermediate section and full perimeter that elongates slightly towards the face.

STEP 9

Repeat over the entire head of hair using a slide cutting technique.

STEP 10

Dry the hair using a paddle brush for a natural finish.

STEP 11

Take vertical sections. Cut using a parallel cutting technique to soften the final shape. Texturize using scissors. Apply milk_shake® styling potion to finish

STEP 12

Check the result of the cut.
